feelings
ripped out
my chest
torn
heart pulled out
still beating
chanting
repeating
your name
calling you back
to me
keening
feening
crying out for you
the pain
unbearable
one soul
torn in two
joined forever
divided though together
through the distance
only miles
not breakup
just apart
in body
not spirit
but separation is
what it is
for now
i could not leave
frozen in place
tears falling
watching the departure
of the ferry
carrying my heart
away
still beating
until we reunite
i feel
broken
incomplete
